Cirque Du Soleil - Quidam

Yay!! We finally went for Cirque Du Soleil!!!

Ever since it has gone up Rt has been pushing for us to go...me for one didnt even know how to pronounce it (maybe a bit too honest but whatever)

Anyways having the reputation of the dropout Rt continued pushing me for the show. Stace was pretty cool either ways.... so I thought lemme make a serious attempt to slip off my 'Cinderella' image of giving 'guest appearances' (as Rt calls it)

We of course had our pockets to consider so it was plain that we were going on a weekday when the tickets would be cheaper....did not happen. Didn’t get any tix and in any case I was traveling so couldn’t wait another week.

My darling friends being the dolls they were said they'd wait for me to get back (I love you guys too much to express!!) and then go for Quidam together.

I then decided to seal this with...ahem.... not exactly a kiss but actual bookings and tix. Booked em for the 8th and boarded my flight.

Now, this may sound like a cliché...but well...the best made plans can always go...and especially when it concerns me, Rt or Stace (more me than anyone)... how do I put it....wrong?!

We didn’t collect the tix and decided to pick em up from the gate before the show. But Alas! We were late as usual...only coz me and Rt thought the show started at 8.30 instead of 8!

Stace could not be blamed coz she didn’t even know we were going nor that we had the tix in the first place..!!

Anyways...got there on time...ahem 8.30 and then started the run across the lawn!

We could not freakin find the rite place and parking and once we did we LITERALLY ran across the lawn between the parking and the circus tent. Got there and then realized...oh! oh! that’s VIP entrance.... Grrrr...

Then ran around the tent to the entrance...shoes in hand, skirt up to the knees...gosh it was a mess...poor Rt got the worst hit (she got parking the farthest).

Well made it to the gate calm and composed...caught our breath ...put on our smiles...showed are tix and then alarm bells went off! Gosh we are half hour late....Aaaaagggghhh!

Me and Rt were first to register this blunder and once again started our little marathon around the tents to find our entrance gate. Stace ...the usual cool cat....decided to take it easy ...and somehow made it to the tent in time with us.

Anyways....if I’m expected to describe Quidam…sorry isn’t happening....not coz I don’t wanna its jus that I CANT!

It was absolutely beautiful!!! I cant find words enough to describe it. To say it was enticing, exciting, etc...would be a huge understatement.

The show was magical!! Sometimes it left us in awe and at other times clapping like little excited children. There were humorous moments and other that would have your heart in your mouth...

To all those who missed it....you really missed something that can be as close as possible to being part of a magical land!

wasn't it just breathtakingly fabulous? i think my fave act were those little girls with drums on strings, whatever they're called. i mean, awesome. how old were they between 7 and 10 maybe?
